Fernandez is a Santiago-born artist is a muralist who is making his mark across America. He studied at the University of Chile in Santiago in Architecture.
- “I became more in love with painting on the street than with being in class."-
He left the University and started to explore art around the world, where he ended up in New York in 2009. He started by graffiti-tagging with his name. Some of his idols are Roberto Matta Wassily Kandinsky and Vincent van Gogh. Fernandez is a young artist and im impressed with his ability as an artist
Fernandez mixes graffiti, of crazy colors and shapes and integrates his own style of funky images. The face splitting apart is my favorite work by Fernandez. Reminds me of dual personalities fighting for the top spot. The skin ripping from the lip looks gross, but its really good. The figure on the bottom, dose not have a reaction like this hurts, but, dude what are you doing?
Many murals that I have seen you can tell, it's missing features to really make it look legit. Fernandez works have the “it” factor; he can really work on a large scale, and do it successfully.
